What is Atrahasis

Atrahasis is an API Client and Development Platform. Engineered for building powerful products. It is privacy-first by design and runs entirely on your machine: no cloud sync, no telemetry, and no account required to run the App. Built with Rust and Tauri, it runs natively and stays fast and lightweight. With its rich feature set, Atrahasis plays a key role in both the development and testing of your software. On top of advanced capabilities such as OpenAPI Designer, Flow Runner, Load Testing, Mock Server, and Git-based sharing, its CLI and CI/CD support help you build secure and fast products.

The Name

Atrahasis takes its name from an ancient Mesopotamian word meaning "exceedingly wise." The name carries the idea forward: software shaped by that same wisdom, considered, intentional, and thoughtful, applied to the craft of modern API work. Where ancient meaning meets the everyday tools of designing, testing, and shipping software.
